Recruit Training Schedule
August 7-8 & 14-15
In-person portion, at Moffett Field in Mountain View. Seabags will be required and checked upon arrival. No overnight lodging provided.
0800 to 1700 all 4 days
Snacks and refill water will be provided. Cadets must bring a sack lunch (no access to microwave) and a camelback or canteen secured to the body.
Graduation: 1600 on Sunday, August 15
Content will include:
- Classroom instruction
- Marching
- Physical Training (PRT) must pass prior to graduation
- Seamanship
- Customs and Courtesies
August 9-13
Virtual portion via Zoom. Links will be provided prior to the August 6 evening info meeting and tech check.
Roughly 0730 to 1500 all 5 days
Content will include:
- Various classroom instruction
- Knot of the Day
- Sea Cadet Oath and General Orders
- Naval History

COVID Guidance from Headquarters
Fully vaccinated adults and cadets are not required to wear masks.
When outdoors, all cadets and adults are not required to wear a mask.
Unvaccinated adults and cadets should wear masks indoors.
People who have a condition or are taking medications that weaken the immune system, should talk to their healthcare provider to discuss their activities.
We support adults and cadets that wish to continue to wear masks at any time, even outdoors, regardless of vaccination status.
